To commemorate a friend’s birthday, they wanted to eat crap-tastic junk food that they couldn’t get in Boston. So we had a little day trip to eat Sonic and Chick-fil-A! We’re constantly bombarded with TV ads for Sonic here in the Northeast. There are two Sonic locations in Massachusetts, Peabody and Wilmington.
Truth be told, I don’t think I would go back to Sonic except to drink cherry limeade and try a Campfire Blast ice cream. The food was sub-par compared to the ones I’ve tried while actually in the South. Chick-fil-A however, I’d eat again. There’s something about the well-seasoned chicken that is lightly battered and fried that is actually pretty tasty. It’s pretty close to a home-roasted chicken. That and I adore waffle fries! So happy, happy birthday! May there be many more.
