Best churros I have ever eaten are from Xoco. Rick Bayless is a genius. It is clear how much detailed care he has in offering authentic Mexican dishes and treats. I forgot to mention, as we were eating churros, Rick Bayless in his regal restaurant whites passed through the dining room!
Crispy cinnamon and sugar churros con chocolate. With a side serving of vanilla bean soft serve, heaven.
I loved how the churros were twisted into knots.
On my way out of the restaurant, I had to intently observe the process and identify the cook who made the churros. Twisted dough is dropped into the hot oil, then when ready, dunked into the sugar and cinnamon mix.
