ChocoLee Chocolates is on Dartmouth Street and replaced the old Haley House Bakery. Walking to brunch in the South End, we came across the inviting sign in front of the chocolaterie marketing two of the best fried treats, fresh filled eclairs and fresh fried beignets.
The homage to Chocolate

Pate Choux eclair shells
Freshly filled eclair with half pastry cream and whipped cream, slathered in warm hot chocolate. Since, the filling wasn’t the traditional custard, but a mix of custard and whip cream, it was light and airy.
Fresh fried beignets, dusted with sugar and filled with melted chocolate.

Only open weekends Saturday and Sunday, ChocoLee also holds chocolate classes.
