Yard House at the Legacy Place is a a restaurant bar area, which is unbelievably popular in the Dedham suburban area. The Legacy Place was formerly the Dedham Showcase Theater and has now become a retail, restaurant and new movie theater area.
The tall glasses pints and goblets at the bar. Yard House serves craft beers, blond ales, brown ales, honey, pale ales, porters, american wheats, stouts, India Pale Ales, strong ales, red ales and beers with extra special bitters.
We started with an Onion Ring Tower with beer battered, dusted with parmesan, with chipotle & buttermilk ranch dipping sauces for $8.65. The onion was perfectly fried, sweet and the best sauce was the ranch.
My friend really liked her Korean beef short ribs with spicy green papaya salad, lemon sriracha aïoli and red chili threads. I tried the Baja fish tacos which were just okay compared to other fish tacos I have had. The crispy white fish was well prepared, but lacked flavor despite having lemon sriracha aïoli, green cabbage, cilantro, pico de gallo and guacamole.
On Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm and Sunday through Thursday 10pm through 12am, Yard House has half-priced apps and pizzas. We will definitely be back again for the discounted appetizers.
