After wandering Quarter Latin and La Sorbonne, we were in search for a quite meal and a cafe ambiance. We stopped by Le Metro for some nourishment and decided to sit on the terrace area. Patrons were sitting with their sole cup of coffee and people watching and we hoped to do the same.
We shared a bottle of cider Loic Raison Cidrier Breton Brut. The cider had a smoky flavor and light bubbles, a nice start to the meal.
We both ordered a croque madame with melty cheese, ham and a fried egg on top. The runny richness of the egg yolk and cheese went was cut well by the cider.
