We popped into a Boulangerie Patisserie store in Montreuil and wanted to grab a few croissants (which were out). So instead, we decided to grab a tartelette aux fraise, almond tart and meringue.

The treats were pacakged in adorable wrapping paper and ribbon. So fun and tres mignon.

The tarts were so luscious, both with a buttery crust. The strawberries were nicely glazed and covered a lightly sweet custard. The almond tart had slivers of nuts on a marzipan flavored center. So good.
The pistachio meringue had a great shape and was airy and melted in your mouth. The flavor of the pistachio coated the tongue and was a fantastic treat.
