Brussels is a lovely city with friendly faces, mystical architecture and food including moules frites, waffles, beer and lots and lots of dreamy chocolate. We visited the Grand Palace and Mannequin de Pis, but loved just popping in and out of little boutiques, lace shops and the small alleyways.
We also love Brussels because we were complimented twice, not once, twice on our French lacks of skills. Perhaps it was a shock factor that an American randomly switched on some seven years of French studying conversation, but hey, we’ll take the compliment. Mais oui!
