Cha-An is an amazing tea establishment. The ambiance is serene and Japanese treats and tea sets are delectable.
The staff wore kimonos and were patient educating patrons about the process of tea preparation and tea drinking.
My dining companion ordered the Chocolate Mochi dusted in powdered sugar.
The Green tea roll with very light and unique, the sake ice cream was creamy and refreshing and the delicate tuile was airy.
Chai-An servves an extensive selection of black, green, oolong, white and herbal tea of various origins.
Check out the women’s bathroom, which has had a proper Japanese Toto toilet!
The one downside of the restaurant was many items were unavailable. Despite dishes not being available, I would return to try the savory items on the menu, teriyaki don, tuna don with friends or on a date.
