After hours of interior design, shoe, clothing shopping on Nimmanhaemin Road, it was time for lunch. We were suggested to visit Hong Tauw restaurant.
The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere, has 1920′s accents and serves Northern Thai cuisine. Both visitors and locals both enjoy the moderate prices and generous portions of tasty Thai dishes.
We loved the antique clocks and antlers.
The refreshing limeade’s tang and sweetness was a great way to cool down from the heat.
The papaya salad was crisp, full of sweet, salty and tangy notes.

The Khao Soi Kai was warming and delicious. Loved the texture of the crisp noodles.
The Mi krob or crisp noodles had great flavor and the noodles were perfectly coated in sauce.
