Bi-Rite Creamery, Mission, San Francisco

We had to return to Bi-Rite Creamery on a gorgeous SF weekend. Not only were we craving salted caramel ice cream, but we were looking for a new flavor. Of course, many other folks had the same idea and wanted ice cream too. We were prepared for the hour wait and were willing.

Some new being served included milk chocolate with peanut butter swirl, orange blossom with candied orange zest and pistachios, roasted banana and hazelnut with dandelion chocolate’s cocoa nibs. We loved the diagram on the sizes available.

The honey lavender and coffee toffee both looked quite tempting and were great samples. We decided on scoop of salted caramel and roasted banana. Both flavors were spectacular, deep in flavor and very pleasant on the palate. Both flavors were worth the wait.
