Combine the milk and chocolate chips in a large microwave-safe mug.
Microwave for 2 minutes.
Whisk until the chocolate has melted. Top with whipped cream, if desired.

Chocolate Chips: We prefer using half semisweet chocolate chips and half milk chocolate chips but any combination or type of chocolate chips will work.
