Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350. Line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
Melt ½ cup of the semisweet chocolate chips.
Mix in the butter and sugars.
Add the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla.
Stir in cocoa, flour, baking soda, and salt.
Stir in the remaining semisweet and dark chocolate chips.
Spread the batter in the prepared pan.
Bake for 14-18 minutes, until barely set.
Optional: Sprinkle with coarse salt.
Notes
Batter - Don't be alarmed that the batter is thick. It bakes into fudgy brownies.
