Instructions
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Have the ingredients for step 4 measured and ready.
Combine sugars, corn syrup, and salt in a medium sauce pan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture reaches 300 degrees on a candy thermometer.
Remove from the heat. Stir in the pecans, butter, vanilla, and baking soda.
Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
Spread into a 12x14-inch rectangle using a spatula. Let cool until firm, at least 30 minutes.
