This maple-sweetened Cinnamon Granola Recipe is better than any store-bought granola. All you need are simple ingredients, and you'll be making your own granola in no time. The hardest part is not eating the entire batch. It is that good.

Did you know that you can easily make a batch of homemade granola in less than 30 minutes? It's not only a delicious snack, but it's perfect for any granola lover to make and have on hand. Crunchy granola is one of my favorite breakfast foods. I normally have it on top of Greek yogurt with fresh berries and an extra drizzle of maple or honey for the perfect breakfast parfait.

How to Make this Cinnamon Granola Recipe
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Add parchment paper to a large baking sheet.

Step One: Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.

Step Two: Mix the wet ingredients in a large measuring cup. Pour over the granola mixture.

Step Three: Stir well.

Step Four: Spread out onto the baking sheet. Put the pan in the oven and bake for 20-30 minutes. You want it to be golden brown and fragrant.
Top Tip
If you want the maple cinnamon granola to have clumps, don't break it apart once it's on the breaking sheet. Stir gently, if needed.
Substitutions
- Nut-free - If you want to add seeds instead of nuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chia seeds, or sesame seeds are good choices. I prefer to use a variety for the most flavor and texture.
Variations
- Nuts - You can add cashews or dice up whole almonds as well. Any type of nuts will work. Just be sure that you try to keep them the same size as the granola clusters so that they create a uniform crunch.
- Coconut - If you're not a fan of coconut, you can omit that and turn this coconut granola recipe, coconut-free. You can also add sweetened or unsweetened coconut at different times and see if that changes the flavor more in a way that you're craving.
- Additions - There are so many different ways that you can change the flavor. Adding chocolate chips, dried apples, cranberries, apricots, or even raisins is a great option. These would all be added after baking the granola.

Equipment
All you need to make this healthy granola recipe is a prepared baking sheet, a measuring cup, and a rubber spatula to stir and spread.
Storage
Once this granola has cooled, store it in a mason jar with a lid or an airtight storage container. You can keep this at room temperature, but make sure that you keep out the air, or it will go soft quickly and lose that crunchy texture. If that happens, it's not bad to eat, but you will notice that it's softer than it should be.

Common Questions
There are so many options! You can eat it by the handful as it makes a yummy snack. Other than that, you can add it to ice cream, put it on top of yogurt, or even add it to the top of a layer of peanut butter on bread.
You can. If you want to store some of the granola for later, simply put it into a freezer bag or an airtight container and keep it sealed in the freezer.
In my opinion, yes. There's just something about building the granola from scratch that really enhances the flavor. Plus, when you make your own granola, you can change it up however you like. That means that you can add in any other ingredients that you're craving. I like to make a few batches and test out different flavors. Each one gives a different flavor profile, and that's part of the fun.
