How to Make Blueberry White Chocolate Cookies
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Add parchment paper to two cookie sheets.

Step One: Combine the soft butter with the sugar using a hand mixer or stand mixer. Add the vanilla extract and eggs.

Step Two: Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt.

Step Three: Combine well. Make sure not to overmix the dough.

Step Four: Mix in the chocolate chips and blueberries.

Step Five: Use a medium cookie scoop to scoop the cookie batter. Shape the dough into 24 balls.

Step Six: Put the pan in the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Let the cookies cool entirely on a wire rack.
Top Tip
The temperature of the cookie dough will affect the thickness of the cookies. For thicker cookies, you can chill the dough. For thinner cookies, use warm butter.
Substitutions
- Blueberries - I don't recommend using fresh blueberries or frozen blueberries for this cookie recipe. They have a lot of excess moisture that will affect the texture of the cookie dough as it bakes. Fresh berries can even turn the dough purple if you mix and break up too much of the juice. You can use chewy dried blueberries or freeze-dried blueberries.
Variations
- Lemon zest - Add a pop of citrus flavor to the wet ingredients. You could also add a bit of lemon juice.
- Dark chocolate - Instead of white chocolate, use semi-sweet or dark chocolate.
- Brown sugar - I prefer white sugar for a more delicate flavor, but light brown sugar will work too.
- Frosting - Adding some blueberry frosting on top is a fun flavor.

Equipment
To make this blueberry cookie recipe, you'll want to have prepared baking sheets, an electric mixer, a cooling rack, a large bowl, a cookie scoop, and a measuring cup.
Storage
After the bake time has passed and the cookies have cooled, store leftovers in an airtight container and keep them in the fridge or at room temperature. You can also freeze these cookies to enjoy later. I prefer to wrap them in plastic wrap and then place them into a gallon bag before putting in the freezer.

Common Questions
The only real way to make delicious cookies without stress is to follow the steps that are on the recipe card. These cookies have been tested personally by me, and I give you all the details to replicate them in your own kitchen.
You bet. You can swap out the dried blueberries and use any other dried fruit. Chewy dried fruit or freeze-dried fruit will both work. That's the great part about cookie recipes like this. They're flexible, and the outcome will still be delicious.
