Ingredients
- Strong coffee - You can use strong brewed coffee, shots of espresso, or cold brew for this delicious drink.
- Half and half or cream - This cuts some of the strong coffee flavor and adds richness.
- Sugar - Adds sweetness.
- Pumpkin spice - A blend of warm spices that gives the latte its classic pumpkin spice flavor.

How to Make this Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte

Step One: Add all the ingredients to a tall glass or glass jar.

Step Two: Stir until well mixed. Adjust the sweetness and pumpkin spice to taste. Add ice cubes.

Step Three: Top with whipped cream or any optional toppings and serve.
Top Tip
Don't have pumpkin pie spice? Make your own by mixing 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon ground ginger, ¼ teaspoon nutmeg, and a pinch of ground cloves. Use what you need for the latte and save the rest for another drink.
Substitutions
- Sugar - You can use regular granulated sugar, brown sugar, maple syrup, or your favorite sweetener.
- Coffee - Use an espresso roast or a different coffee blend. You can even use decaffeinated coffee if you want to cut back on the caffeine.
Variations
- Milk - Use your choice of milk instead of cream or half and half. Whole milk, oat milk, coconut milk, soy milk, almond milk, or another non-dairy milk will all work.
- Syrup - Want to add a bit more sweetness? Add a little store-bought or homemade pumpkin spice syrup.
- Vanilla extract - Add a splash for a little extra vanilla flavor.
- Hot - Skip the ice and serve it warm for an easy hot pumpkin spice latte.
- Frozen - Turn this into a frozen pumpkin spice latte by adding the ingredients to a blender with about 1 cup of ice. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add a little more ice for a thicker drink or more milk or coffee to thin it out.
- Pumpkin puree - Add 1 tablespoon pumpkin puree for more pumpkin flavor. Mix it well with the coffee before adding the remaining ingredients. Be sure to use pure pumpkin puree, not pumpkin pie filling.

Equipment
It's not hard at all to make your own iced pumpkin spice lattes. All you need is a serving glass, a spoon for stirring, an ice cube tray full of ice, and a milk frother if you want to give it a little fluff.
Storage
This iced pumpkin latte is best served and enjoyed right away, but it can also be made ahead. If you make it ahead, don't add the ice. Just put the ingredients in a mason jar with a lid and store it in the fridge. When you're ready to drink it, shake well, pour over ice, and add your favorite toppings.

Common Questions
The sky is the limit. You can literally add just about anything that you want. Whipped cream is always a good start because then other toppings will stick to it. Some ideas are ground cinnamon, mini chocolate chips, a drizzle of caramel sauce, or even a little bit of chocolate syrup.
You can. Just brew the coffee or espresso and skip the ice cubes. You'll get all that pumpkin spice flavor in a warm, cozy drink instead.
Anything breakfast- or brunch-related is going to be a good fit. You can bake up a batch of Banana Carrot Muffins to enjoy or have it as a sipper that you enjoy after your belly is full of good food.
For more pumpkin spice flavor, simply add a little more pumpkin pie spice. For more real pumpkin flavor, add a tablespoon of pumpkin puree. The great thing about making this drink at home is that you can taste and adjust it depending on your taste buds.
