How to Make 3 Ingredient Oreo Fudge
Add parchment paper to a loaf pan.
Step One: Mix the condensed milk and chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds, then stir.
Step Two: Continue doing this until the chocolate chips are melted 75% of the way. Then stir until they melt completely.
Step Three: Mix in the chopped Oreos and then put into the prepared pan.
Step Four: Sprinkle the chopped Oreos on top. Press them down so they stick.
Step Five: Put the fudge into the fridge to firm. This will take about 3-4 hours.
Step Six: Remove from the pan, peel off the parchment, cut, and enjoy!
Top Tip
You can have vanilla fudge if you use Golden Oreos and white chocolate chips! This easy Oreo fudge is versatile! Try one of their signature and fun Oreo flavors, too.
Substitutions
- Milk chocolate - You can easily use milk chocolate or white chocolate to turn this into white chocolate fudge or milk chocolate fudge.
- Peanut butter - Add a small amount of peanut butter to turn this into peanut butter fudge.
Variations
Easy desserts like his can be easily varied! Change the type of cookies used, or try different flavors of chocolate. Your sweet tooth will thank you!Â
Nuts - Swap out the oreos for nuts. I do this in my 3 Ingredient Microwave Fudge. And then make a batch of Pecan Bark to go with it.
Equipment
Since you're using simple ingredients, you don't need a ton of equipment for this 3-ingredient fudge. A heatproof bowl is a must, and a good spoon for stirring is needed. You'll also need parchment paper and a loaf pan.
Storage
To store leftovers of this simple fudge, you need an airtight container or sealable bag. You don't have to store it in the fridge, but I always do. You can eat it chilled or sit it on the counter for a bit to come to room temperature.
Fudge is freezable, so add the pieces of Oreo fudge to a freezer-safe bag or container and save some for later.
Common Questions
You need to use a sharp knife to cut fudge into smaller pieces. You may also notice that some of the fudge comes off onto the knife, and if that happens, don't stress. Simply wipe the knife clean between cuts, and you'll have pristine pieces of fudge that are perfectly cut.Â
It will take a couple of hours for the fudge to be firm and ready to eat. I always give it 2-3 hours once it's done so that it's the perfect texture. While it's true that you can eat fudge without it being completely set up, it will be a bit messy and not have the same texture as fudge typically has.Â
Be careful when you're heating up the chocolate. Make sure that you are following the steps on the recipe card listed below. This is the only way that you can be sure that the fudge that you're making will be perfect every time! Pay attention to measurements and waiting time - and you'll be set!
